vintage finds: antiquing in upstate NY.

while in upstate ny, of course we had to go antiquing! it's one of my favorite things to do up there, well anywhere really, and i found some pretty awesome vintage things i got to bring home with me! i've decided that i really just need a house..or apartment, so i can DECORATE! i saw tons of things that would be so perfect in my future home..rustic doors, antique dishes, cool chairs and incredible wall art just waiting to find a beloved home..if only. so for now, i just had to buy some little things to hold me over..

i found this awesome polaroid camera for 8 bucks, and it works too! now all i need is film..it's quite expensive, anyone know where i can get some cheap?
and i found these old metal buttons, it was $3 for a bag. i really love them, i can't wait to create beautiful things with them!

i thought this scale was awesome! it's useful, as well as a cute piece of floor decor for $8.

annnd this apron for $5. i love it, now all i need to do is learn how to bake something decent so i can wear it! and apparently i'm into the 70's theme because this and the scale look like they came straight off the set of..well (someone tell me) i can't think of a movie from the 70's but you get the point, flowerpower all the way.

i also got some vintage fabric, doilies, lace and a really old scrabble game! i love antiquing, there's always so much to look at, and a story behind it all!

on another note...tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY! i will no longer be a teenager..pretty weird to think about..now i have to be all old and mature haha..but i'm really excited, jp is taking me HORSEBACK RIDING! i've never been on a horse before..well once when i was like 10 and i just rode around in a circle, you know how those things go haa so i'm excited and nervous to really ride a horse! sadly, i don't think i'll be able to bring my camera, but hopefully i'll be able to get some shots on jps phone to share!
